Gabriel Hjertstedt
clinches first Swedish victory on the US PGA Tour!

Gabriel Hjertstedt of Sweden set out on Sunday´s final round of the B.C. Open with one goal: to save his tour card. The 26 year-old Swede did more than so. After a shaky start with two bogeys on the first two holes, Hjertstedt recovered to win the entire tournament and $234,000

A two under par score on the final round, put Hjertstedt in front with one stroke. A gamble with the driver and a 5ft putt on the 16th, put him ahead of current leader Andrew Magee.

Instead of fighting for his tour card, Hjertstedt is now qualified to play The Masters. He is also guaranteed to keep his tour card for two more years.
