Mayfair beats Tiger Woods,
with a birdie on the first play-off hole

US PGA Tour, Billy Mayfair came back from a three year drought, to win the $2.1 million
PGA Nissan Open at the Valencia Country Club.
Mayfair kept his cool and birdied the 18th hole to be even with Tiger Woods. On the first
playoff hole Mayfair made a birdie again to beat Woods,who missed an 18-foot birdie putt.
Billy Mayfair takes the $378.000 first price for his first win since The 1995 TOUR
CHAMPIONSHIP and his fourth in his career.
Stephen Ames, Trinidad, now living in Canada, finished in third place, in his first US PGA
TOUR event.
