Food
Food has always played a major role in the Tomarp estate property,
for long generations. We are happy to continue this tradition of caring
about meals and their quality. We take special delight in preparing meals,
in which most of the ingredients come from our own resources.
Here, in the Tomarp estate property, we have our own sheep and laying hens.
The Råbellövssjön lake is known for its clear waters, where pikes are fished.
We grow vegetables in our own beautiful kitchen garden, this area being
worth visiting in its own right. We have plenty of fruit, and at any time we
can buy more from our friend, a farmer living nearby. We are of the opinion
that supporting local farmers and nearby land holdings is important,
therefore we serve only Swedish meat.
Apart from good food of high quality and kind service, you will find
good wine here, as well.
If you find wandering around the kitchen a nice activity, you are
welcome to visit our kitchen and assisting our cook in preparing meals.
